What comes available in this state is shaped by what it runs: automotive assembly and stamping across southeast Michigan, EV battery plant construction, furniture manufacturing in the west, and mining in the Upper Peninsula. On the utility side, DTE Energy, Consumers Energy, Lansing BWL, Indiana Michigan Power all operate here, and surplus programs and system upgrades release both distribution and station-class equipment.
