Most plants keep spare transformers for equipment retired years ago. Nobody wants to be the person who scraps a spare, so it sits, gets recorded on the fixed asset ledger, and quietly occupies floor space. An honest inventory usually turns up several units with real market value and zero remaining internal use.
Closures and line moves
When a line is consolidated or a plant closes, transformers compete for attention with production equipment and rarely win. We handle the electrical scope specifically so your team can focus on the machinery, and we schedule around the plant's shutdown sequence.
Environmental and record keeping
Plant environmental managers need documentation more than they need the last dollar: transfer of custody, oil analysis, disposal manifests where applicable, and a clean pad afterwards. We produce that package as standard.

Padmount Transformers
Pad-mounted distribution transformers are the single most liquid item we buy. A dead-front loop-feed unit in the 75 to 2500 kVA range with a legible nameplate and a sound tank can be priced from photographs the same day.
