The Pennsylvania market for used transformers

What comes available in this state is shaped by what it runs: steel and specialty metals in the west, natural gas production and processing in the Marcellus, pharmaceutical and chemical plants in the southeast, and very large warehouse and logistics development. On the utility side, PECO, PPL Electric, Duquesne Light, Met-Ed all operate here, and surplus programs and system upgrades release both distribution and station-class equipment. Moving it out of Spry means I-76, I-78, I-80 and I-81 with the Ports of Philadelphia and Pittsburgh river terminals for oversize freight. Resale value versus scrap weight
