Our interest in Harlan is not generic coverage — it is that Iowa combines two of our best sources — hyperscale data center refreshes and first-generation wind repowering, both releasing young pad-mounted fleets. The industrial base here spans very large data center campuses in Des Moines, Altoona and Council Bluffs, ethanol and grain processing, wind generation at scale, and agricultural equipment manufacturing, and equipment out of those facilities is usually well specified and worth recovering rather than scrapping. Utilities in the area include MidAmerican Energy, Alliant Energy, Cedar Falls Utilities, Muscatine Power & Water. Freight runs I-80 and I-35 cross at Des Moines and the Mississippi River barge system handles our oversize station loads.
