Utility territory in and around Jesup is served by Georgia Power, Georgia EMC cooperatives, MEAG Power, Dalton Utilities, and the equipment those systems retire tends to be standard voltage-class distribution gear with good documentation. Beyond the utilities, Georgia generates transformer turnover through Atlanta's very large data center cluster, automotive and EV plant construction, carpet and flooring manufacturing in Dalton, poultry processing statewide, and the Port of Savannah.
